Returning player spotlight: Robert Hogan
Hogan appeared in 24 games for the Wildcats in 2024 and developed into one of the best relievers on the team.
The offseason is in full swing for the Kentucky baseball program as roster building for the 2025 season is complete. With a bit of a down period in store for the next month or so, now is a good time to begin some player previews for fall practice and beyond.
This series will only focus on players who returned from last year’s College World Series roster. I will probably write separate stories previewing the incoming transfers and 2024 recruiting class, but I don’t want to dive in on that segment of players until I’ve seen them in a practice setting at Kentucky.
For this series, I’m aiming for three posts per week and that should carry us into fall workouts beginning. When I was mapping this out, I didn’t have any real order in how I selected the players; I just picked players at random. Every story will follow the same template.
We’ll start with senior reliever Robert Hogan.
